My Thoughts:
This was absolutely brilliant! Angela has managed to bring the eeriness of the upcoming months, and no matter your age (I’m 41!), if you love a good spooky mystery, then you will love this!
After reading Goosebumps with my children when they were young, and even though I no longer have little ones, this definitely appealed to me. If you have younger children, this would be perfect for them to read or be read to, during spooky season!
Full of mysterious characters, the creepy Skelter, Nancy, Arthur, the creepiness of the Scareground, this has everything that you would want in a book for this time of year, thrills, mystery and lots of scares! Superbly written, I’m hoping there could possibly be a sequel on its way?!

Angela Kecojevic is a senior librarian, author and creative writing tutor. She has written for the Oxford Reading Tree programme and the multi-award-winning adventure park Hobbledown where her characters can be seen walking around, something she still finds incredibly charming! She is a member of the Climate Writers Fiction League, a group of international authors who use climate issues in their work. Angela lives in the city of Oxford with her family.
